Overview

Katie serves as the Director for Curriculum & Technology Integration at Forward Edge in Cincinnati, Ohio, working closely with district leaders to help them identify needs of their staff, plan professional development and implement the professional development with district leaders and teachers. Before joining Forward Edge, she worked in adult education, oversaw 7-12th grade students in alternative school, served as Director of Educational Technology for a private, 1:1 high school, and an Integration Specialist at the district level in a large, public district in Ohio. Katie received her M.A. in Education and Instructional Computer Technology (2014) and her B.A. in Secondary Social Studies Education (2010) from Northern Kentucky University, and she is currently working on her Ed.D. from Vanderbilt. She has served on the leadership team for the EdTech Coaches Network of ISTE since 2015, a Future Ready Schools Instructional Coaches Thought Leader since 2017, and is also a Google Certified Innovator, Trainer, and Coach.
